What was the hardest part about creating a WordPress website?
The hardest part was figuring out why the featured images weren’t displaying properly. Even though I uploaded the images and set them as “Featured Images,” they kept showing up as broken icons. In the end, I gave up on trying to fix it.
Do you have any future plans for your website?
Honestly, I don’t have any concrete plans at the moment, but I might reuse or rebuild it in the future if I need a website again.
Did you gravitate toward anything particular during this class?
I really enjoyed learning how HTML and CSS work together to create structure and design. Understanding how the code controls the layout and appearance of a website was very interesting to me.
Is there anything you feel you would like to go deeper on?
I’d like to go deeper into Google Analytics and learn how to use it more effectively. I want to be able to analyze website data and understand how people interact with my site, so I can improve it based on real insights.
Do you feel more empowered to hire or be a web designer in the future?
I don’t feel ready to be a web designer yet, but I do feel more confident as someone who might hire one in the future. Having basic knowledge of how websites work helps me better understand the process and communicate more effectively with designers.
What have you gained from taking this course in relation to your degree?
By learning how websites are structured and managed, I gained a solid foundation that will help me in future marketing strategies.
